Spend the day here visiting the Caves. You can take a beautiful walk up the road where you can stop for some lunch and climb the rocks. 

Head down to the bottom where you can visit lots of local shops , grab a ice cream or a pint from the pub. Dont forget your buy cheddar famous cheese! 


Visit the stunning caves at Wookey hole,  the largest and most spectacular show-caves in England. Free crazy golf with every ticket. 

See the smelly cheese, play on the vintage arcade machines, and look out for the fairy Garden, roaring dinosaurs and King Kong.

Visit Weston-super-Mare. Have a ride on the ferris wheel, visit the pier, arcades and build unlimited sand castles on the golden beach. Grab yourself fish and chips and visit the local shops to grab that all important stick of rock and souvenirs. And if that wasn't enough you can grab a round of crazy golf or visit the sand sculptures on the beach front.

 


Visit burnham on sea beach. Which is right on the door step. Look out for free annual events, they are are must. Burnham has its own pier, arcades & amazing local shops where you can find tons of souvenirs. 


If you haven't been to longleat you won't be disappointed.  This is the best zoo I've ever visited. Feed the deers from the window of your own car! Meet koala bears and let the kids run wild on the huge park, make and animal rides. Keep the kids entertained watching the live shows or take a trip around the house are gardens. Don't forget to go on the boat trip where you can feed the seals!

Visit brean. Rides for all ages and wristbands available for a full day's fun, or even visit their amazing outside water park to cool down. Next door is a large soft play area so lots to do for the whole family. You can even send dad off to brean golf! 


Why not spend the day at butlins where you can purchase a day pass which gets you into all the shows, rides and arcades all included in your ticket. So ride as many times as you like. And If you book at the right time you may even get to watch diversity like we did.

Forde Abbey and garden 

The gardens will be open once again in Spring 2021, when wide open lawns and the space and freedom to explore makes Forde Abbey a great day out for all the family. Adventurers will love our willow labyrinth in the arboretum and watching wildlife on the lake. 

Pick up pocket money gifts and souvenirs on sale in the gift shop and you’re most welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in the grounds.


Dunster Castle, Minehead approx 50 min drive. 

The parkland and car park are open daily. At weekends the garden and toilets are also open. Booking is essential for weekend visits however there is no need to book to visit Monday - Friday. 

Whether it’s exploring the River Garden, completing a spotter trail or ticking off some '50 things,' there’s plenty to keep little (and not so little) ones entertained.


The Helicopter Museum in Weston-super-Mare is the largest dedicated Rotorcraft Collection in the world, with over 80 helicopters displayed inside the museum.

Giant adventure play Castle, Bouncy castles, indoor play barn, penny amusements , 20 meter zip wire, trampoline and tractor play, and not forgetting all the animals. A great day out for all the family. Family tickets £45 approx.


Warren farm

This centre has plenty of activities to entertain the family, there is a pets corner with lots of little critters for you to meet, tractor trailer rides to hop on, archery, climbing, zip lines and so much more. There are indoor and outdoor play areas for the kids to let off some steam and there is a market on Wednesdays during the summer for some retail therapy. The activities are in the holiday park, but are free for the public to use!


Visit the local railway and see the trains.

If you check the events you can even book having fish & chips on the trains or tea and cake 🎂

Funland Theme Park is a fairground located on the Seafront of the original British Seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare on the North Somerset Coast in The Tropicana.

Weston-super-Mare boasts one of the longest naturally occurring beaches in the United Kingdom on the Bristol Channel Coast and it is the gateway to the South West of England. The beautiful golden-sand beach is perfect for an hour or two in the sun, a walk with the Family, or for the more adventurous, various Water Sports can be enjoyed.
